Walking!
With the current pandemic lockdown, we are allowed to leave our homes for one of four reasons. One of the four is exercise, and Wendy and I are taking full advantage of this, and walking daily.
We have been blessed with blue sky and sunshine almost every day, and in addition to walking, the garden has never looked better.
What a beautiful world we live in, and especially so it seems to me, being in rural Norfolk. We have a large number of lanes and footpaths immediately accessible from our home, and the health and strength to enjoy them.
The river Bure is a delight, and we have found a new walk along its bank for a couple of miles, and another yet to be explored. But most days it is fields and lanes, lined with bluebells, hawthorn, lilac, and a myriad of other flowers. Birds sing in the trees and pheasants strut across open fields.
What a beautiful world!
