Where Is It?

My question too! I thought it would be published early this year, but then… No, failure to publish is not due to the pandemic. In fact, if there had not been a pandemic, there might well not have been a book.
I felt that simple little sketches would lighten and brighten the text. Like E. H. Shepard’s sketches for A. A. Milne’s Winnie the Pooh books. An artist was recommended to me, and we struck a deal. It all seemed straight forward and full of promise. But no sketches arrived. Months passed. Maybe he was ill – it seemed best to draw a line under it. I lost heart somewhat. And then…
A lady in our church happened to show me some of her artwork. And another couple had a son who loved to sketch. The rest is history, and I now have numerous simple little sketches, which delightfully break up the text.

So the manuscript is complete, and most sketches are scanned in. I am excited, and it should not be too long before a new cover joins the existing ones at the head of this site. And in case you’ve forgotten, the title is BIG BLUE SKY – a celebration of Norfolk.

Watch this space.
